Ultra-Light Outdoor Promo Flag (60gsm WP) — A light coated cloth with an opaque core — weather protection without the weight of a tarpaulin, specified for promotional banners.
This construction sandwiches an opaque layer inside a light coated polyester. The result blocks light and stops show-through while staying easy to handle, which suits café barriers, privacy panels and dividers that get put up and taken down regularly. Like all coated fabrics, it is water-resistant as a cloth; the sewn edges and fixing holes are not sealed.
Promotional banners are the everyday workhorse — short campaigns, quick turnarounds, and a need to look sharp for as long as the offer runs and no longer.
Best for
- Storefront and sale-header banners
- Hanging ceiling banners
- Retail promotional walls
- Sidewalk and A-frame inserts
- Feather and forecourt promo flags
Key advantages
- Opaque core stops light passing through, so there is no ghost image and real privacy
- Light enough to handle, roll and store single-handed
- Coated surface sheds rain and wipes clean after a wet week outdoors
- Takes a clean dye-sublimated print with no show-through to spoil the reverse
- Practical for hospitality settings where panels move with the seasons

Choosing the right specification
Buy for the campaign, not for the decade. If the offer runs six weeks, a light knit does the job at the lowest cost and stores flat for reuse next season. Save the coated wovens for anything going up permanently. If you rotate messaging often, consider a frame system with interchangeable fabric skins — the frame is the capital cost, the graphics are cheap.
How ordering works
- Send your artwork — Upload print-ready artwork at any stage — we check scale, resolution and bleed before anything goes to press and come back to you if something needs adjusting.
- Made to your size — Every panel is cut and finished to your dimensions. Tell us the finished size you need and how it is being fixed, and we will allow for hems and fixings correctly.
- Printed by dye-sublimation — Colour is transferred into the polyester fibre under heat, so the image becomes part of the cloth rather than a layer sitting on top of it.
- Finished and shipped — Hems, eyelets, pole pockets, silicone edge and other finishing are applied before your order is folded, boxed and dispatched worldwide.

Technical detail
What to expect from service life. Indoors and out of direct sun, printed polyester holds its appearance for five years or more. Outdoors, published ranges for dye-sublimated polyester run from roughly six to twenty-four months depending on how exposed the position is, with the shorter end applying in high-ultraviolet regions such as the Southwest, Florida and the Gulf Coast, and in coastal or high-wind locations. Sheltered and north-facing installations reach the longer end. Coated and tarpaulin-grade constructions extend beyond that band because the coating carries the UV load.
Best suited to
Seasonal outdoor work that goes up and comes down regularly — café barriers, privacy panels, studio dividers and hospitality screens.
