FABRIC DETAILS

Reception Head-Table Backdrop — made to your size in a choice of 3 fabrics, from 120gsm to 850gsm.

Décor fabric is chosen with the eye and the hand. How it falls, how it catches light, how it photographs — these matter more here than any technical specification, because the entire point is atmosphere.

This product is offered across more than one fabric because the right answer depends on where the panel is going and how long it needs to last. The table below sets every option side by side on the specifications that actually decide the choice — weight, opacity, finish and weather behaviour — so you can compare them directly rather than opening a page for each one.

Best for

  • Ceremony and altar backdrops
  • Mandap and canopy covers
  • Reception and head-table backdrops
  • Aisle runners and ceremony drapes
  • Sangeet and festival stage drapes

Which fabric should you choose?

  • 850gsm Crystal Velvet — A deep cut pile that swallows light — the heaviest, richest cloth we print.
  • 120gsm DS Shiny Satin (Duplex) — One cloth, printed on both faces — two independent designs on a single panel.
  • 800D Linen-Look — Woven from slub yarns to give the irregular texture of linen, with none of linen's bad habits.

Key advantages

  • One product, 3 fabric specifications — compare and choose without leaving the page
  • Deep cut pile absorbs light, producing blacks and jewel tones no flat weave can reach
  • Substantial weight hangs with authority and falls into deep, even folds
  • Naturally sound-absorbent, which softens acoustics in a hard-surfaced room
  • Directional nap gives a shifting, luxurious surface that reads expensively

Choosing the right specification

Order a swatch before you commit. Sheen is almost impossible to judge on a screen — the difference between a soft satin and a high-gloss one is dramatic in a room and nearly invisible in a photograph of a product page. Check it under the actual lighting you will have on the day, including any coloured wash, before you order the full run.

How ordering works

  • Send your artwork — Upload print-ready artwork at any stage — we check scale, resolution and bleed before anything goes to press and come back to you if something needs adjusting.
  • Made to your size — Every panel is cut and finished to your dimensions. Tell us the finished size you need and how it is being fixed, and we will allow for hems and fixings correctly.
  • Printed by dye-sublimation — Colour is transferred into the polyester fibre under heat, so the image becomes part of the cloth rather than a layer sitting on top of it.
  • Finished and shipped — Hems, eyelets, pole pockets, silicone edge and other finishing are applied before your order is folded, boxed and dispatched worldwide.
